The date 21st December 2012 is known as the end of the Mayan Calendar. The question many people ask is: Why does the Mayan Calendar end on this date? One could answer by saying that it had to end on some date so why not this one. But that is no answer as no other calendars give a date fro their end. Others see this date as the end of the world – the end of time. They see this to be a day of destruction. Others see it as a day of transformation and the beginning of a new age or era. What is the truth about this date?
To see what this date represents we need to dip into the Bible. In reference to the end of days there are two prophets in particular that give us a clue. In fact one is not called a prophet in the strict sense but for our use here I shall refer to both as prophets. They are Daniel (who is really a Seer) and Malachi (the last prophet).
The very last sentence in the book of Daniel shows what is meant by the end of days:
But go you your way till the end, for you shall rest (die) and stand (at the resurrection) for your portion (of reward) at the end of days. (Daniel 12:13)
It is clear from here that the end of days (which can be understood as the end of the Calendar or the end of a particular time cycle) is not the end of the earth. But it is clear that the form of dating will change and this we shall explain soon.
The book of Daniel is written in Aramaic and Hebrew as Daniel lived in Babylonia at after the Israelites had been exiled from Judea. The term for the End of Days is:

Just two verses earlier the term for days is also used only this time it is spelt:
ימים
The letter ם- Final Mem is used to form the masculine plural in Hebrew. The letter ן – Final Nun is used to form the masculine plural in Aramaic. But why the change from Hebrew to Aramaic in just two verses?
To understand this we have to examine the Gematria of קץ הימין , the very last two words of the book of Daniel.
ק = 19 Nineteen = 86
ץ = 18 Eighteen = 73
ה = 5 Five .........= 42
י = 10 Ten ..........= 39
מ = 13 Thirteen .= 99
י = 10 Ten.......... = 39
ן = 14 Fourteen =104

482 is the Large Value of the words קץ הימין.
Let us now examine the date 21st December 2012
The Twenty First of December Twenty Twelve = 33 + 107 + 72 + 21 + 55 + 107 + 87 = 482 (PV)
So we see that this date may well be connected to the End of Days.
Let us now examine the prophecy at the end of the book Malachi. Again we are looking at the last prophet and the very end of his prophecy. The last two verses of his book read:
Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And he will turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, let I come and smite the earth with a curse – חרם (Charem).
The very last word is חרם – Charem – which is here translated as Curse but has the normal meaning of excommunication. This means that the world would be isolated among the universes population. What should happen is for there to be not only peace on earth but the removal of the spiritual barriers that isolate earth from any other living beings in the universe be they spiritual – like the angles, be they physical – like other civilizations.

So we can see that this date is associated with something very unpleasant yet avoidable. There is a basic principle regarding negative prophecies and that is that provided people correct their ways then the prophecy does not have to come true. We see this very clearly from these two verses from Malachi who states that Elijah will come to bring about this unity with the family between father and sons and then, in the merit of this there would be not destruction. However, positive prophecies will always be fulfilled – though delayed!
We shall examine the word חרם as it is spelt out using the spelling of the letters of the word. חרם is spelt Cheth Resh Mem. The Hebrew is given below along with the Gematria using Placement Values.

At the beginning of the last chapter of Malachi we have the first verse that states:
For behold, the day comes that shall burn like an oven (a furnace) and all the proud and all who do wickedly, shall be as stubble; and the day that comes shall burn them up, says the Lord of Hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. (Malachi 4:1)
The Hebrew for: shall burn like an oven (a furnace) is as follows:
בער כתנור
(Bo`er KeTanur)
The first word is actually missing a Vav – ו. We shall see why later. Here we shall add the Vav back in.
בוער כתנור = 117 (PV)
If we take the Vav iut again we get:
בער כתנור= 111 = Slaughter (PV)
The End of the Mayan Calendar = 33 + 23 + 21 + 33 + 54 + 58 = 222
The Ultimate Goal of Life = 222
The Coming of the Messiah = 222
The Enlivening of the Dead = 222
The Day of Visitation = 222 = The Coming of the Messiah
The End of the Mayan Calendar = 33 + 23 + 21 + 33 + 54 + 58 = 222
The Rabbis explain in the Talmud (Sanhedrin) that the Messiah must come by the year 6000 though, in the merit of the Jewish people bringing in the Sabbath extra early each week so too the seventh millennian will come early and so will the Messiah. The year 6000 is the last possible date.
Six Thousand Years = 222 = The Coming of the Messiah
But what is so special about the number 222?
Perhaps it is this:
Two Hundred and Twenty Two = 316
P = 16 16² = 256

The number 316 is called the Sum of Squares (SOS) of Peace.
